Here is the list of people who recently died in my village. Let us all pray for their soul to rest in peace. Please understand that when we can pray for YSR..we can do for these people also. Every life has the same value...dont you agree..

They all died due natural cause and age. They are all more than eighty years old. I was trying to emphasis, in this forum we do not need to discuss about YSR. He might be a beloved leader for someone and corrupt for others. Whatever may be the case take your discussion to the relevant place. The reason I started this thread to emphasis that there are lot of people dying across the country and around the world and we do not need to hold prayer for every one or they poor souls are not different from YSR and they also deserve to be remembered in our prayers. The Employer won`t be touching the I-140 or any other related GC apps.About the time frame for getting same or similar job...I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

I had not seen an update from USCIS yet that explained clearly the severity of the backlog. Next time we do an interview/radio show etc., it may be a good idea to point to this press release by the USCIS. We often hear that some congressmen are not convinced that it takes more than 7 years to get a GC. Next time we do a letter campaign or meet with a congressmen, let us print this out and take it with us.

being current means nothing, belive me, I filed 485 in March 2004 when everything was current for almost an year, we need IV reform the system to better work for Highly skilled professionals,
I know in coming months many of us might get GC, including many in IV-core team, but I would like to IV go further after getting GC to continue their effort to put a closure by passing SKILL as a law which is our goal

I'm trying to see the list of people who applied EB2 at NSC in 2006 and still waiting for updates/result.
Please keep updating this thread with ur dates and updates like if any SR was raised, any LUD's after ND etc.
Mine RD is Dec 11 2006...no updates till now.SR was raised on 20th oct 2007.
We will try to track if people get updates after posting here.

The processing date listed is the received date of the oldest case that they have not adjudicated or pre-adjudicated yet (maybe due to some problem). It does not mean that cases filed after April 2007 are or will not be adjudicated.

This is mistake. I got my EAD last year with validity only between 10/01/2007 and 01/01/2008. I called USCIS. They have asked me to send a new application for a new card with out the application fee. You probably have to do the same. Since it is mistake on their part you don't have pay any fee. Please talk to USCIS, they will let you know how to proceed.
I agree with Eb2India, It appears to be a mistake or typo on the part of USCIS.
You should approcah them. Hopefully they will react the same way as his case and you will get extended EAD. Goodluck

If someone has I485 applied for 6 months for mare than 6 months, can he/she leave the job and join a US school for further studies. Do he/she still need to get F1 visa. Will this have impact on his I485 application.

I still don't see where this "spill from EB-1 ABC country to EB-2 ABC country" idea coming from.
We all know there's no fixed number of quota for any country in each EB category. There's only "up to" limit for each country. Although some countries may hit their limit early, but that doesn't mean that is reserved quota for that counrty. Since there's no reserved quota for any country, where is the "spill from EB-1 ABC country to EB-2 ABC country" idea coming from ?
"There is some possibility that India EB-2 could again become available if it appears that the demand for India EB-1 will not exceed the annual limit, but, that determination will not be able to be made until the second half of the fiscal year"
I think this means
1. If EB-3 RoW Current, unused quota goes to other countries which is not current, from EB-1 -> EB-2 -> EB-3, either randomly or again by country limit to use these extra quota.

I think you can earn upto maximum 4 credits per year. so to get 40 credits you have to work for 10 years.
